Air Duct Cleaning

Promoting better respiratory health

Indoor air quality has become a concern in recent years due to respiratory related medical complications and improvements in research technology.  Such a concern, the Environmental Protection Agency designated poor indoor air quality as the fourth largest threat in the United States.

Home heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems are closed systems, meaning outside air is not circulated into the home. HVAC systems recycle the air in the home. Therefore, pollutants in the home, stay within the home.

Our cleaning procedures and guidelines are in accordance with The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA). NADCA provides consumers with information for selecting a reputable firm. We are a certified firm of NADCA. Also, our company staffs ASCS technicians. These technicians demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and thorough understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system cleaning by passing the NADCA certification examination.

NADCA recognizes the “Source Removal” method as the only acceptable procedure to properly clean and decontaminate air duct systems. Source Removal is also known as Mechanical Cleaning, which is physical removal of contaminants and debris not intended to be present on internal HVAC surfaces. In extenuating circumstances, Air Filtration Devices (AFDs) are used to collect particles, especially biological, from the air within

an establishment. An AFD is a portable self-contained blower assembly designed to move a defined volume of air through a series of filters, generally HEPA, then air is re-circulated. HEPA filters have a filtration efficiency of at least 99.97% at 0.3 micron-sized particles.

Duct system cleaning methodology can vary due to system age, construction materials, and region located. We consider all variables to ensure HVAC systems are cleaned and restored in a safe, efficient manner.

Our technicians use industry-leading technology in the form of equipment and methodology to clean ventilation systems. The process of eliminating contaminants begins by sealing all registers (vents) and returns. Then, we remove contaminants from the HVAC system by administering negative pressure (vacuum pressure) to the duct system in order to control and draw contaminate particles to a specific exit for collection. Agitation from specialized brushes aides the collection process. The specialized brushes are fed through the duct to break up stubborn particles attached to the interior of the duct. Finally, vents are cleaned and re-attached.

We are dedicated to provide our clients with the Ultimate Service Experience. Air duct cleaning is recommended every 4-5 years for average homes. We offer our clients free video inspection to determine when the duct system requires service.
